Select Sound Studios, New York

Recording, mixing and mastering studio in New York City that belonged to Jubilee. Do not confuse with Select Sound Studio, also in New York!

Opened in 1967 and converted from 4-track to 8-track around early 1968. The studio was closed when Jubilee went bankrupt in 1971.

Lacquer cuts can be recognized by "Select Sound" stamped in the runouts, often accompanied by the cutting engineer's initials.
