Spinning Wheel Records

A German-based rare-groove and nu-jazz-label owned by the German DJ Reinhard Wimmer. The beginning was the famous 'Pop Boutique' compilations containing 60s and 70s rare-groove and soundtrack-tunes. Then they began releasing more electronic stuff on their sublabel Transmitter and by now under the progressiv spins series on the main-label. They also feature re-releases of old, hard-to-get Jazz-acts like Kitty Winter and others under the re:spins series.
