Big Time

Big Time was a label based in Sydney, Australia. Owned by [a=Fred Bestall] who managed [a=Air Supply] in their early days, amongst others.
There were regional branches with offices in London and L.A. publishing as [l=Big Time Records (UK) LTD] and [l=Big Time Records (America) Inc.], and the entity [l=Big Time Records] is frequently used as a catch-all for company credit roles.

From 1979 up to 1981 was distributed by [l=Wizard Records (5)] which was purchased by [l=EMI (Australia) Limited] ca. 1981. and re-branded as Big Time. In Australia, 1987/88 distribution moved to BMG and releases were branded more often with RCA, BMG & Big Time simultaneously; in the US & perhaps Canada, RCA began manufacturing/distributing/marketing Big Time releases in October 1986.

Label reactivated in 2018 by new owners for their distribution contract with starting in 2018
