Trattoria is a defunct Japanese record label, established in the early nineties by [a=Keigo Oyamada] ([a=Cornelius]) and active till circa 2000, named after [a=Mike Alway]'s nickname. Trattoria produced over 200 original albums and CD/LP/tape compilations by various Japanese pop-electronica/ mellow / fusion, lounge / easy listening bands and performers. The label is currently owned by [l=Polystar], an international group of independent record labels. In the past, Trattoria used to distribute CD released for [a=Yamatsuka Eye]'s, controversial Japanese vocal performer, improviser and experimenter, founder of cult bands [a=Hanatarash] and [a=Boredoms], label [l=Shock City]. Apart from Shock City, Trattoria handled ten more sub-labels and release series, including [l=Think About The Future '99], [l=Prego!], [l=Mo' Music], [l=Trattoria Family Club] (reissuing personal favorites by [a=Bill Wyman], [a=The Free Design], [a=J.R. Bailey], [a=Tracie Young] and [a=Yasuharu Konishi] and several compilations titled Love The Reason and Respond 12" Single Collection), [l= Trattoria 7inch Split Single Series] with three 7" split singles produced by [a=Cornelius] vs [a=Hideki Kaji], Salon Music / Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her and Papas Fritas / Citrus, and Trattoria E.P. Series for CDEP singles.

Most of the label's artists were picked by [l=Felicity] label, and Trattoria's current roster is limited to [a=Keigo Oyamada] himself and French singer-songwriter [a=Louis Philippe].
