Recording studio, based in Chelsea, London, England from 1965 until 1976. The studio was founded by [a=Geoff Frost] and [a=John Wood], both formerly at [l=Levy's Sound Studios]. They registered the name for their new company in December 1964. When they could't afford to buy out the freehold when the building owner wanted to sell, they moved-on to other things, leaving the freehold to then be bought by the owners of [l=Olympic Studios] in Barnes, London, as a second location; [l=Olympic Studios, Chelsea] (who eventually closed the site in the early 1980's, when it was redeveloped into luxury flats).
