0 releases

West Coast recording, dubbing, editing and disc mastering studio for Columbia (and the first Coast studio owned by the label itself), opened in March 1961 on the grounds of the old CBS Radio studios in Columbia Square, with the former CBS Radio Studio A renovated and converted at a reported cost of $500,000. Countless acts on Columbia and its sublabels recorded at the studio over the course of its relatively short existence, and their disc mastering services were used for lacquer cutting for various indie labels whose records were pressed by Columbia's plants. Closed on October 7, 1972 after attempts to reach new contracts with the engineers' union had failed, and many CBS artists using other Hollywood studios for recording.

Also appears on releases as:
- Columbia Studio D, Los Angeles
- Columbia Records' Studio A on Sunset Blvd.
