Label operated by Chris Long (aka Rhythm Doctor). As The Rhythm Doctor, he's been DJing continuously since 1978 starting in Coventry, playing punk & reggae. From 1982 he branched out into the jazz-funk scenes of the UK, Midlands. In 1986 he established ‘The 3A’s’ Artists Against Apartheid club with Jerry Dammers, playing house music.
The Rhythm Doctor's first productions were for the Truelove label, then on his own Mama Records label. Almost Unknown began in 2023
