US jazz record label founded by producer and record executive [a=Joe Fields] in 1972, and run along side of ; also appears as [b][i]Muse[/b][/i] only.

Muse was marketed as having 'The Contemporary Sound'. The label acquired many of the artists signed to , with whom Fields had a prior working relationship. In 1993, they acquired [l=Landmark Records (3)]. In 1996, Muse was sold to [l=32 Records]. In October 2003, [l=Savoy Jazz] acquired the rights to its catalog (along with that of Landmark) from 32 Records.
