A New York recording studio. It was founded in 1978 when [a=Janet Rosenblatt], then 25 years old, acquired [l=Bell Sound Studios] from bankruptcy, changed its name to the Sound Palace, and began renovations. It consisted of four specialized studios, with Studios C, a.k.a., "The Keyboard Clinic", and D located on the building's second floor and Studios A and B on the fifth floor and featured custom monitors designed by the acoustic engineer [a=Ted Rothstein].
