Keith Prowse & Co. Ltd.

Music / hospitality company (Dissolved). The roots of the company were established in 1830 by Robert William Keith (1767–1846) and William Prowse, with Keith Prowse & Co. Ltd. being legally incorporated in the early 1900s. Principal activities included Instrument manufacturing, ticketing agency, retail and music publishing.

In 1954 Keith Prowse & Co. Ltd. was split with the hospitality-ticketing agency being acquired by Peter Cadbury. The music publishing operations (including rights to back catalogues) of the company were spun off, with a new company [l=Keith Prowse Music Pub. Co. Ltd.] being established.
