ASR Recording Service was an independent tape duplication company established in 1974 by Sani Rothberg and . The first plant was located in Fairfield, NJ, and later moved to Glen Rock, NJ. The New Jersey locations were referred to as ASR East. In the late 1970s, a West Coast factory was established in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, CA. The Canoga Park facility was acquired by [l=DOCdata] N.V. in December 1997 and continued activity as .
