Intercord Tonträger GmbH was a German record company. It officially started on October 12th 1995 at Aixheimer Straße 26 in Stuttgart. This was the former address of [l=Intercord Ton GmbH].
The company owned several labels and distributed a couple of foreign labels, for example [l=XL Recordings] and [l=Mute].
In 2000 EMI Group Plc reorganized its activities in Germany. As a result Intercord Tonträger GmbH was dissolved and all label activities were merged into [l=EMI Electrola GmbH].
