Studio Apsome

Pierre Henry's private studio founded Apsome 1 in February 1959 in the rue Cardinet in Paris. Later he moved to Apsome 2 in Saint-Germain-des-Prés (1964) district. In April 1971, Henry moved to Studio Apsome 3, located in the rue de Toul. In 1982 all equipment was renewed, and the studio was renamed to Studio Son/Ré.
APSOME stands for Applications de Procédés SOnores en Musiques Electroacoustiques.
