The third of the [l=Record Plant] Studios, opened in 1973 at 2200 Bridgeway, Sausalito by [a=Gary Kellgren]; also appears as Record Plant, San Francisco. In 1983 the studio changed ownership and was renamed simply [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/270464-The-Plant-Studios]The Plant[/url]. Like the two other Record Plant studios, it had a mobile unit for location recordings, .
The location, at 2200 Bridgeway, closed in 2008.
The studio is currently being rehabilitated with plans to reopen.
