National Plastics Ltd. was a UK company formed in 1947 to amalgamate the interests of De La Rue Plastics Ltd. and Moulded Products Ltd.
Initially based in Tyburn, Birmingham, a second location was established on Walthamstow Avenue, London E4 in 1953. This Walthamstow plant manufactured shellac 78s (from January 1953), 10" & 12" vinyl LPs (from July 1954) and 7" vinyl EPs (from September 1955) for , until the pressing plant was established in an adjacent building and record manufacture transferred there in July 1957.
Also referred to as National Plastics Company.
