United Recordings

United Recordings (Also appears as TRIBAL United Kingdom) started in March 1998 and was founded by Theor Verplancke and Rob Bouhuis together with Marcel Nothdurft and Ton Vermeulen from Vernoth Music. Theor and Rob both gained experience at highly acclaimed Outland Records in Amsterdam. Vernoth Music is well known for its labels Touché and Pssst with artists like Laidback Luke, Jark Prongo, Trancesetters, Basco, Chocolate Puma, Riva and The Good Men.

United has been associated with the following sublabels. After Midnight, Alien Recordings, Disque Deluxe, Flammable, Forbidden Planet Records, Fundamental Recordings, Groove Alert Records, Hi9, Long Life Recordings, Nightfever, Quest For Trance, Music For Cocktails, Therapy Recordings, Touché and Music For Cocktails. Before moving to Armada Music in 2003, the Armind and Fundamental Recordings labels were also part of United Recordings.
