Sonopresse was a 50/50 joint venture between the publishing / distributing company and Gérard Tournier. On July 6th 1976, Sonopresse S.A. (the legal entity behind the Sonopresse imprint) was wholly acquired by S.A.
Sonopresse S.A. ceased operations in 1979.
