C.W. Paas Inc.

Distribution and manufacturing company owned and run by Walter Paas.
Originally named C.A.P. Exports, and mainly dealing with exports to the Mexican market, the company later changed name to C.W. Paas Inc. to become incorporated in the U.S. At the time there were many companies in the state of Illinois with 'cap' in their name which made it difficult to register the name 'C.A.P. Exports'. Walter included his surname to simplify matters and move things along. There was later a shift back to Cap Exports.
Walter Paas was also behind the Chicago based record label Danica Records (named after his daughter).
The company name is sometimes printed as C.W.Paas (without the Inc.).
