EMI Holland Prod. B.V.
Warning: there are currently no known identifiers for this plant. The typical runout pattern associated with Bovema actually arises from the lacquer cutting process and should only lead to a credit for the Bovema / EMI Studios.
EMI Holland Produktie B.V. controlled the manufacturing (vinyl pressing, tape duplication and printing) and the distribution, from at least January 1976 to approx. 1982. Until 1978 there were two factories, one in Haarlem and one in Alkmaar (Algrammo), which were consolidated into a single factory in Uden in 1978.
Around 1982 it became EMI Services Benelux B.V.
The Uden plant also served sister companies in Germany and Belgium (Brussels and Cologne).
In 1979 the plant operated 32 album presses, eight 7 inch presses and 20 cassette winders. Uden also had a printing plant, which was specialized in four-color sleeves, labels and inlays. Distribution used a semi-automatic conveyor system developed in Switzerland.
