JBO Limited

Record company (rights holder) associated with the labels JBO & V2, operating under this name from 13 February 1998 to 13 December 2022. The Company was jointly-owned by Steven Hall and V2 Music Group Limited until 2 October 2001 when V2 Music Group Limited became the sole owner (until dissolution).

Following the success of Born Slippy and Trainspotting, V2 wanted to sign Tropical Underworld, but Underworld wanted to remain loyal to Steven Hall, who had initially signed them to Junior Boy's Own. So, instead, V2 bought out Hall (split him off from Junior Recordings Ltd.) and created JBO Limited, a joint venture between Hall & V2 Music Group Limited. Future Underworld releases and other releases managed by Hall were released on the new JBO label.

JBO Limited became dormant when JBO ceased operations in 2004.
