Publishing company founded by Bill Owens and Dolly Parton after their contract with Combine Music Corp. ended. Using parts of their last names, they called the new company OwePar (or Owe-Par). From 1967 to 1975, it was managed by Bill's brother, Louis Owens, who was also a partner in the company. In 1969, Bill Owens left the company. Porter Wagoner acquired part ownership in 1971.
