Despite being never owned by EMI, the European Commission requested to divest it as a requirement for a Sony/ATV-led consortium to acquire EMI Music Publishing. It was, along with "EMI Virgin"-named publishing companies, sold to in May 2013. The group of divested music publishing companies was also known as "Rosetta", as it appeared in transitional legal names of these companies.
