Master Cutting Room

The Master Cutting Room was initially the mastering arm of (and located on the same grounds, on West 44th Street in Midtown), with a Neumann VMS-66 lathe and SX-68 cutterhead. Around 1988-1989 MCR became an independent business. By the 1990's MCR (long since independent from the Plant) had moved to West 49th Street, north of Times Square.
