Scorpio Sound
Scorpio Sound, also known as Scorpio Studios or Scorpio Sound Studios was a UK recording studio located on the ground floor of Euston Tower, London.
The studios were run by Aidan Day (former Radio One producer) and Claude Harper (previously Apple).
Recording began in 1972 until it closed in 1984. Producers / engineers employed at the studios included George Peckham (1973), Dennis Weinreich, Ray Hendriksen, and Pete Hoskins, the latter taking over as the studio manager in 1977. The studio was also used by Capital Radio who were based on the floor above for recording bands specifically for live broadcasts.
