London Records, Inc.

U.S. company of the London Records label.

Originally founded in New York in 1946 as The London Gramophone Corporation, and subsequently changed its name to "London Records, Inc." on April 6, 1953. The name changed again, to "Decca Electronics, Inc." on April 16, 1980, which was ultimately merged out in 1999.

From 1953 until 1980 it operated as a distributor, rights holder, and similar roles in the United States for releases issued by labels such as:

Hi Records
London Records
MAM
Parrot
Shellshock
Sire
Threshold Records
