ABC/Dunhill Music came into being in March 1973 after [l=ABC/Dunhill Records] decided to consolidate all their music publishing firms into two separate entities, one for each music licensee (ASCAP & BMI). ABC/Dunhill Music was the name chosen for the administering publisher for copyrights previously held by four different BMI-affiliated publishers owned by the label: [l=Trousdale Music Publishers, Inc.], [l=Pamco Music Inc.], [l=Westpar Music Corp.] and [l=Porgie Music].
