French independent publisher in France, created in 2005 by Emmanuel de Buretel (ex-CEO of EMI Europe, Virgin Editions and founder of [l=Delabel Editions]) with Michel Duval (ex-CEO of Delabel Editions). Affiliated with SACEM (IPI #470529551).

Domestic editorial catalogue includes [a=Daft Punk], [a=Vitaa], [a=Amadou & Mariam], [a=Thomas Dutronc] and [a=Justice (3)]. Because Editions, along with a group of investors, acquired [l=Jeune Musique], created in 1967 by [a=Claude François]. Because Editions is sub-published outside France by [l=Blue Mountain Music] except in US and UK, where Because is sub-published by [l=Concord Music Publishing].
