Amato Distribution

Also known as [l=Amato] (use that if found like that on releases) and [b]Amato Distribution Ltd.[/b]. Defunct UK dance music distributor and manufacturer, which went bankrupt in 2007.
Established in 1990 as an importer of Italian dance music by Mario Forsyth (also referred to as Mario Howell), who sold the records from his own car's boot.
In 1991 Amato took on its first full time employee and had grown sufficiently to rent a small office in Paddington, London.
During the 2000's, Amato operated from a purpose built office and warehouse site in London's Park Royal with a 40+ workforce.
Merged with [l=Unique Distribution] in May 2006.

Employees included [a=DJ Frantic].

Filed for liquidation in November 2007.
