Japanese record company which was established in 1997 and part of the Bertelsmann Music Group.
In 1999 it merged with [l=Fun House Inc.] into [l=BMG Funhouse, Inc.]
BMG Japan, Inc. was re-established in 2005 after BMG Funhouse, Inc. was renamed.
In 2009 it was split into two divisions: [l=Ariola Japan Inc.] and [l=Sony Music Japan International Inc.] and closed down.
