Express
3 releases
Toshiba subsidiary established in 1967, having its first release in April 1968.
Express was originally a label of [l=Toshiba Musical Industries Ltd.] (東芝音楽工業株式会社). Then, in October 1973, after Capitol EMI acquired 50% of the company, it became a label of the newly-formed [l=Toshiba EMI Ltd] (東芝EMI株式会社). Over time Toshiba further reduced its stake in the company, until in 2007 it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMI, changing its name to EMI Music Japan (now EMI Records Japan, part of the Universal Music LLC group).
For unofficial releases, see [l=Express (11)].
