Damont Audio Ltd.

Vinyl record manufacturing and tape duplication company in Hayes, Middlesex operating under this name from 1986 until 2006.
The company was established in November 1986, after Damont Records Ltd. was forced to go into receivership because the owner, Counterpoint Group, was not able to provide funds anymore. The company was then bought by Insulpack Limited (later renamed to Meekland Group) and Damont Records Ltd. was subsequently renamed to [l=Damont Audio Ltd.]
In January 1994, a takeover bid by Nimbus is called off after Nimbus had to scrap plans to raise money through a US flotation.

In 2005, the company entered liquidation and the company ceased trading in May 2006 when a compulsory winding up order was issued. Following this, the company was officially dissolved in 2009 after three years of dormancy.
