Mid-Town Records

Dutch House, Techno and Hardcore label founded in 1987 in a joint effort of [a=Hans Tieleman] and [a=Rene Bakker] to set a new standard for dance-oriented record stores.

In 2011 Mid-Town B.V. sold all the rights of its music catalogue to [l=Cloud 9 Dance].

On the second of October 2012 Mid-Town Holding, Mid-Town Distribution and Mid-Town Records were declared bankrupt. The company with its stock and labels logos (but without the music catalogue) have been put on auction the same month. The company has not been auctioned in whole but all parts such as the labels have been auctioned separately.

On 07-11-2017 Midtown announced on Facebook that they would start releasing again in 2018
