Blanco Y Negro

Label/record company from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, specialized in dance music. Also known as [l=Blanco Y Negro Music].
Blanco y Negro Music was born in 1978 as a record store in the city of Barcelona. The record company was founded on 17 January of 1983 by the brothers Jaime, Félix and Luis Buget. Only continued the business till today, making of this independent company the longest-standing in the country, at least in their music style.

The first label logo says "Blanco Y Negro Music" in red. In 1984 it changed to black and white colour and was kept unchanged until late 1998, when logo just say "Blanco Y Negro" also in black and white.

Blanco y Negro Music has created more than 30 sublabels which are divided in general by musical styles, such as pop or new age, although most are from subgenres of EDM, such as hardcore, gabber, mákina, techno or house.

In its history it has counted on well known artists, some of them nationally (such as Fruela, David Civera, Jorge González, Juan Magán, Azúcar Moreno, David Tavare, Raúl Orellana, Tata Golosa, OBK, Seguridad Social, Jay Santos, Romántico Latino, Lucenzo, Sak Noel, Fruela, Jia Miles, Ruth Calixta, Edu Morlans, DJ Valdi, Roberto Sansixto, Leticia Sabater, Lucrecia, Andermay, Xavi Reina or Foncho), and others internationally (as Alexandra Stan, Inna, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Hardwell, Sasha Lopez, Tom Boxer, ItaloBrothers, Bodybangers, Yolanda Be Cool, Bob Sinclair, Kate Ryan, ItaloBrothers, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Hardwell, Axwell, Natalie Horler, Rochelle, Nicky Romero, Armin Van Buuren or Tara MacDonald).
