Noir

Noir Recordings was set up in 1996 as a collaborative venture by [b]Brillo[/b] and [l=Vinyl Distribution].
Noirs' music policy of hard but funky drum and bass was somewhat shaped by the first four releases, all coming from the [l=Street Beats] artist and label manager, [a=Blue (2)].
In 1998 [a=Blue (2)] took over the label management of [l=Noir]. In 2000, with the formation of two new labels in the [l=Street Beats] fold ( and ), Blue decided to delegate part of the label management responsibilities of Noir to Scope (another Street Beats artist).
