Madlib Invazion

[b]Madlib Invazion[/b] is an American independent hip-hop label, launched in 2010 by Los Angeles-based producer and DJ [a=Madlib]. Before starting the label, he used Invazion as a name for his production/publishing entity, so it frequently appeared in credits.

The label opened with a [l=Madlib Medicine Show] series of albums, announced in November 2009 with a plan release 12 parts, on a monthly basis. Eventually, the series was completed in 2012 with 13 CDs, six LPs and six limited edition LPs released. Another ongoing album series on the label is called [i]Rock Konducta[/i]. It includes hip-hop instrumentals produced by Madlib using samples from various rock, prog rock, krautrock and psychedelic rock records.

MadGibbs (the duo with [a=Freddie Gibbs]) also published most of their records through this imprint, including a critically acclaimed album [i]Piñata[/i] in 2014.
