Music For Nations
UK metal label started in February 1983 by Martin Hooker, former Secret Records boss. Note that many of the MFN releases were pressed in France by MPO [Made In France printed on label]. These are mostly [if not all] UK issues - please be sure before entering Country info.
First located at Lyntonia House, 7-9 Praed Street, London W2, relocated around November 1985 to 4th Floor, 8 Carnaby Street, London W1V 1PG.
Early vinyl pressings can be identified by a beige label with small red Music For Nations flag logo at the top. This label was in use through the end of 1985 (up to MFN 58 in the catalog 3587564, test pressing dated 28 Nov 1985). From 1986 onward, new releases and re-issues have a red and yellow label with overall graphic; the red flag and flag bearer covering the top half, and Music For Nations text / logo in white.
Address until early 1994 was "102 Belsize Lane" in London and then the office changed to the known "333 Latimer Road" still in London. This fact should help identifying correct CD releases/reissues/represses for the MFN catalogue. Means all products showing the latest address can't be pressing before 1994 even if it says ℗ © with an earlier year.

Officially closed its doors in 2004. Its catalog was folded into Zomba, which was owned by Sony BMG.
The label was relaunched in 2015.
