1970s telemarketing label created by Ron Popeil (mastermind behind sold-on-TV products like the Pocket Fisherman and Mr. Microphone) in 1973 that sold budget-priced compilation LPs. Established a UK branch soon after, which occasionally issued movie soundtracks and classical compilations.
Some logos are Ronco records.
US parent: Ronco Teleproducts, Inc.
UK branch: Ronco Teleproducts (U.K.) Ltd.
Canadian branch: Ronco Teleproducts (Canada) Ltd.
Closed in 1984 when parent company Ronco Teleproducts, Inc. filed for bankruptcy and was subsequently liquidated by creditors.
