Arktik Recordings was founded by [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Matt+Thomas+(2)]Matt Thomas[/url], aka Banga Matt, in May 2000. This fresh label specializes in the production, engineering, release and promotion of Hard Dance Music.

Arktik Records has been growing in reputation and success, with reviews in Mix Mag, M8, and DJ Magazine. Continued support from top hard house DJ’s, including Andy Farley, Anne Savage, Karim and Simon Eve, has helped Arktik play a role in the continued development of music for the harder generation.

In 2001 after a successful trip playing abroad in Poland, Paul Jack was asked to help with the general running of the label, however this partnership has grown stronger over time leading to Paul being made label manager. As with most things this partnership has its ups and downs, however with the ultimate goal being the same. This team is one to watch out for !
