April Musikverlag GmbH

German publishing company. Established in December 1964 (registered 11 February 1965) in Frankfurt/Main as a German subsidiary of and part of the worldwide network of April Music publishing companies.
In 1967 the company was extended as a concert agency (April Musikverlag GmbH-Konzertbüro) for CBS artists appearing in Germany.
First director until 1969 was [a=Bernhard Mikulski].
Between March 1978 and June 1982 the headquarters were located in Hamburg but then returned to Frankfurt.
Renamed to [l=CBS Songs Musikverlag GmbH] in 1984.
