
Flex Records
Danish record label Flex Records was founded in 1994 by [a=Ole Martini Mortensen] and [a=Kenneth Bager] as a sublabel to [l=Scandinavian Records] to release various electronic music.
Flex established an office and a studio complex located on Njalsgade 19 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They recruited [a=Peter Ø. Skovsted], [a=Michael Pfundheller], and [a=Lisbeth Bruhn] to help run the label. At one point they had five recording studios at Njalsgade. The "hit factory" included producers [a=Cutfather & Joe], [a=Hartmann & Langhoff], [a=Little Jam], [a=Caucasuss], [a=Multiman], [a=Christian Møller Nielsen], and [a=Dan Stangerup].
Flex was sold to the Danish branch of the EMI group in 1996.
Flex was based upon four colours:
Red = Pop
Blue = Dance
Black = Techno
Orange = Ambient/downbeat
