QOL

QOL (Quantum Optical Laboratories) was a French optical disc replicator. Established as a CD/DVD replicator in 2000, it became one of the first European manufacturer to begin Blu-Ray replication in 2007.

It was announced in March 2009 that QOL had acquired VTV Optical Discs, which ran a CD/DVD manufacturing plant in Kuurne/Courtrai, Belgium, which continued activities as QOL Belgium (QOL NV) until it was closed in September 2011.

QOL went into receivership in February 2014, and in March 2015 was acquired by Media Industry (MDI), owner of kdg France. At the time of this acquisition, QOL ran a manufacturing plant in Vernouillet and a warehouse and logistics plant in Dreux.
