Blue Star

French jazz label founded in 1945 by [a=Eddie Barclay].
Ended in 1956 after his full integration in the label (since 1954).
The jazz catalogue was reactivited around 1975, thanks to reissues and also new jazz and blues recordings.

BS 6801 to 6999 - 33 RPM ⅓ - Label : Blue

Label Evolution:
1. Dark Blue / Gold : 1945-1949?
2. Clear Blue : 1950?-1953?
3. Silver : 1954?-1956

Most of vinyl releases were packed in imported US sleeves, with often a stamp on it for the Blue Star catalog number.
