Canadian independent label founded June 1970 in Toronto, Ontario by [a=Francis W. Davies]' record company [l=Love Productions Limited]. Originally distributed by [l=Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd.] Label ceased operations in 1983 following the release of Klaatu's 'best of' album 'Klaasic Klaatu' and A Foot In Coldwater's "Footprints'.
Distribution deal for Australia and New Zealand was signed with [l=Festival Records Pty. Ltd.] in March 1971. Any Daffodil release with Festival markings was released after this date.
