Apt Records was an ABC-Paramount subsidiary label used exclusively for singles launched in 1958. In the first eight years of the label's twelve-year run (1958-66), nearly 100 singles were released. After a 3 year hiatus, the label was revived in 1969 by ABC Records who used the imprint to release an additional 14 singles and one known LP before closing down the label for good in 1972.
