Southern Records

Southern Records is an independent label founded in 1990 by the owners of Southern Studios, a recording studio in Wood Green, North London, which operated from the mid-1970s until 2013. The parent company, Southern Studios Ltd., was formed in 1982 as an independently owned and operated music company which operates record labels and other music-related items.
When Southern Records is used as a distributor, two labels should be considered:
• Southern Fried Records when it says "Distributed by Southern".
• Southern Records when it says "Distributed by Southern Records".
