Record label owned by arranger/producer/composer team [a=Hugo Peretti] and [a=Luigi Creatore] (alias ). Originally founded as [l=Avco Embassy] (later [l=Avco] Records in 1969 by Peretti, Creatore and film producer Joseph E. Levine, Peretti and Creatore bought the company from Avco-Embassy Pictures in late 1975 and renamed it H&L. The label was closed in 1979.
By 1984, the combined Avco/H&L catalog was acquired by [l=Amherst Records], which owns it today.
