Bearsville Records was founded in 1970 by Albert B. Grossman, who also launched Bearsville Studios. It closed in 1984.
In the beginning, it was distributed by Ampex Records till 1972, when it changed to Warner Bros. Records.
Known to have used Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute and Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Winchester for pressing.
