Antidote
4 releases
Antidote is a burgeoning new label at the cutting edge of black music forms – from Hip Hop and Reggae to Funk. DJ Yoda's 'How To Cut & Paste Vol. 1' – an album of scratching and other DJ techniques - was a great early success for the label and its successor, 'How To Cut & Paste Vol. 2', achieved even higher acclaim when released in 2002.
Antidote aims to give a platform to artists who make interesting, fresh and inventive music. The label embodies the original concept behind hip-hop music - taking in a myriad of musical influences, mixing them all up together, and coming up with something fresh.
