Studio (formerly a boathouse) situated on the south-west bank of the River Thames at Ranelagh Drive by Twickenham Bridge, owned by [a=Pete Townshend]. Active mid-70s to 1981. Also known as 'Eel Pie Sound Studios'
In 1975, [a=Pete Townshend] bought The Boathouse (see [l=Boathouse Studios]) that became the home of Eel Pie Sound and [l=Oceanic Studios, Twickenham]. In September 1981, Pete Townshend rebuilt the studio that became known as [l=Eel Pie Studios].
