Vital Distribution was a trade name for the the independent distribution, sales & marketing company Vital Distribution Ltd., officially active between March 28th 1994 and January 10th 2008. This company had briefly traded under the name Revolver/APT after the merger of Bristol based Revolver USA and York based APT in January 1993. Belgian record company and distributor, Play It Again Sam (Pias), who had owned APT continued to hold a controlling interest in this newly named company.

In January 2008 the company name was changed to [PIAS] UK Ltd., trading as PIAS UK.
